Global Pulse

I have now been working at Link TV for over three months and it has been really fulfilling. I shoot the stand-ups for the weekly "Global Pulse" show and write the blog posts too.

I have been engaging with current affairs like I never have before. I am learning what it takes to produce a show for television week after week. That has been the biggest challenge and accomplishment: to come up with content on a weekly basis.

It is becoming clearer and clearer to me that I really enjoy producing media that is short, concise and current. I have become aware that what makes me excited is what's happening in the world and how best to portray it to those that don't have the access to see it. I love movies and the worlds that they create, but right now, reality and all that it speaks of is far more interesting to me.

It does get a little intense at times and I have to detach myself from the content I work with. But all in all, I think that it has been very fulfilling knowing that I am able to bring perspective to people that might never have the opportunity to see otherwise.
